I have two words to describe my life this past year:
Stagnant.  Home.

The lilacs are blooming.  I can smell them every time I leave my apartment and it makes me remember how beautiful life is.  Mom came to visit me last year at this time in Belgium.  She smuggled a few small branches in her suitcase to remind me of home.  It was one of the most amazing gifts I'd ever gotten ( Read more... )

Oh grossness.  I'm in class and it isn't nearly over.  Once again I'm stuck pretending I'm busy with something.  This class makes me feel like I have a braincloud.  I'm so busy thinking about other things so as to occupy my mind that its like as soon as I walk in the room I am overwhelmed with anything thats going on around me.  Meaning, my brain ( Read more... )

I finally took my car into the mechanic this morning.  Its been stressing me out for weeks now because I simply didn't have the resources to take care of it, and therefore felt hopeless and vented a lot of the frustration onto those who do not deserve it.  Got a call back and its going to be about$150, which is reasonable.  But I cannot help be be ( Read more... )

It feels so much like those times I tried out for the drumline. I didn't actually want to be a part of it, but to be told that I wasn't even welcome hurts all the more. There is just this huge void in my future that is based only on uncertainty. Its hard to have faith in that.
